This is not the first time Delle Donne has supported Nike's efforts to make more inclusive shoes. These shoes use special material to make them laces-free and have an expandable opening, according to Nike's website. To create the shoe, Nike has used what it calls FlyEase technology. Once the heel is flipped back up, the articulated midfoot strap – held down by exterior Flywire cables – can be wrapped around the back of the heel and achilles and is held down by the exposed adhesive fabric.
